Any experienced piano tuner or rebuilder will tell you that A.B. Chase made some of the finest uprights of the early 20th century. We originally acquired this piano in 1980 and at that time we restored the action with new hammers and dampers. We sold it to a gentleman in Oakland who had us maintain it regularly for 25 years. He has now moved from the area and given us the piano to sell once again. The figured mahogany case is in very nice condition and the original ivory keys are excellent. The piano still retains its original warranty booklet from 1908.
