You arrive at your uncle's (who has passed away) house and the mayor stopped by to tell find out who you are and what you were doing there and you tell her that the house is yours now. She wants to see the deed and wants the house repaired because it is not in the best of shape so you have yard sales to raise the money.

It does have the occasional M3 game thrown in. The music got on my nerves so i cut it down.

It was repetitive. Not a bad HO game and there are different scenes to search and then you have to find additional items. Rated 4 out of 5 by TeachumWell from It was Almost Fun, But. I really enjoy these 'yard sale' HO games. Especially when there's an optional 'relaxed mode' without time pressure.

This game has that, the usual bullies wanting to take away the 'poor girl's' only home, room full of salable items and lots of customers. So what's the problem? One word will do-graphics!

The cartoonish style is annoying enough, but the objects you need are often out of proportion, warped and misshapen and/or odd colors. This detracts hugely from what is otherwise a good member of the honorable HO yard sale family.

But I'm recommending it as you may find the style agreeable and enjoy the game. Give it a try and if the graphics don't detract from it, it may be a win for you. Rated 4 out of 5 by LivingAsIf from Decorating and Collecting Fun This is a buy for me.

I'm still plugging away at the first Home Makeover Game and haven't found the end of the game yet - and that's okay by me! This is a stressbuster - one of those steady, dependable games that you can rely on. It's got a good format. You're doing up a home, you buy decor with coins you earn from hidden object games. There's a steady mix of customers and you look for objects to sell, like an in house yard sale. There's a match three section, a story about why you're doing up the house - and this one is snow themed! In the first game, it had household hints and I use three of them now in my daily life!

The visual quality is pretty old school, which I don't mind, it's basic - I've rated things lower than how fond I am of this game - big fish has published such high quality, complex games, it's like comparing apples and oranges. But this is a solid little game if you like the genre - and the demo gives you a good overview of the whole package. I find it a nice game to plug away at when I want to know what to expect at the end of a tough day! To make matters worse, the Mayor wants the house renovated as well as her Uncle's deed. Emma knows there's only one thing to do, make money by selling off unwanted items around the house.

You can play this Hidden Object game in Relaxed mode which is untimed or Normal. Emma will hold sales in each room of the house, customers arrive to the left with the item they want to buy and the quicker you find the object, the more money you'll earn. When the customers get the item they want, you click in the money to allow another customer to take their place, you will earn more money if you click on several coins for a chain bonus. There are several different types of HO's, listed items, silhouetted shapes, multiples of one item, finding items one at a time, memorizing 6 items shown briefly before disappearing, and my favorite, listed items that have the letters scrambled. Each scene has loose coins to click on for extra money, each scene has an Origami Logo, and each scene has a skeleton key to find as well.

There are also 9 awards or achievements to earn. After a few HO's you can play a Match 3 game which also earns you some money. When you have made enough money you can purchase items for your Uncle's house such as, Flooring, Wallpaper, Furniture, and other various decorations. Each category gives you three different options which have different costs associated with them. This game is about the same as the first one so for that reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, enjoy! Rated 4 out of 5 by stevesan from Addictive fun The story: Your uncle's house has been abandoned for years and the mayor is about to take over unless you can fix it up and find the title in time.

To raise money you have 'sales' by finding objects that customers request. The cash raised is used to buy wildly overpriced furni$hing$ like $400 daisies. This is similar to the Gardenscapes series but it has a little less charm. You can play in arcade mode (timed) or relaxed.

During the trial, play was either hidden object or match three. The match-3 levels were basic and optional. Hidden object scenes vary from picture, scrambled words, silhouette, one-at-a-time, and find X number of an object. There are 15 rooms and each has a hidden key and round symbol (I forgot what it was called).

The play can be a little challenging as some objects are well hidden (i.e. Black on black) and others are quite small.

Also, while you do replay scenes, the object positions change for added difficulty. To get a better view, you can use your mouse wheel to zoom in and scroll in any direction. Fun game, recommended for hidden object addicts. Rated 3 out of 5 by gamelover2916 from Save Your Money! I really didn't like this game. I thought they needed more substance to the game. They need to give you more choices in the room makeover.

They need items that go together so you can redo the room. The choices they do give aren't good.

The prices that they have for alot of the items are ridiculous. Some of the objects in the scenes aren't really appropriate such as pregnancy tests and syringes. You spend your time looking for keys and when you find all of them, it really is no big deal. They give you a hint button (if you need it) and I like that it refills quickly.

I just find alot of things that I didn't like and not much that I did. Just save your money! Rated 3 out of 5 by Innovativemom from Discount Game, Not Full Price This is an old school type HOG. You search rooms, earn coins, then choose one of three items in a category to buy for a room. Each HOG scene took place in a room.

The rooms repeated many times. The items to find also repeated, but they didn't move around. They were in the same place each time a scene repeated. There is only one room, not an entire house. You start out choosing flooring, wallpaper, lamp, couch, table, then move on to curtains, chimney, TV, picture, plant. The choices were strange.

For example the 3 wallpapers didn't go with any of the floor choices. The colors were offbeat, gaudy, with big ugly designs on them. This game is worth a coupon code or discount price but no more than that. The game lasts a long time but I ended up uninstalling it before finishing because of the repetitive scenes and objects. Rated 3 out of 5 by Debs173 from Overpriced housing makeover I happen to be a makeover addict, but I was sadly disappointed in this game. The storyline is the usual, relative dies, leaves homes etc, etc, and you are under certain time constraints to refurbish the home.

So far no surprises. But with the gameplay, the creator has tried to vary the usual methods of earning money. I was just so disappointed in the purchases you had a choice with. While only three choices is a bit miserly, the fact that you didn't get an item cheaper by purchasing another from the same category was hard enough. But whomever designed the furniture and decided what was tasteful, totally lost the game for me. Paying up to $900 for a vase or pot plant, and even more for a phone and radio was absurd.

I ended up not even playing until the demo finished. Sadly disappointed in this one.
