Unofficial 2.02 is based off of the official 2.01 patch, so if you want to play Unofficial 2.02, you'll need to install 2.01. We highly recommend obtaining the patch from the game itself, by selecting 'Check for Updates' from your Windows Start Menu. We provide the patch here in executable files for those who experience trouble with Check for Updates. Just download it and run it once. Be sure to download the patch of the appropriate language. The patch is an executable file, so just download it and run it once.
Be aware that the 2.01 download is different for every language, and also different depending on whether you installed your game from a DVD or bought it from EA's online store (Origin). Installing the wrong version of the patch may prevent you from playing the game, so be careful to use the correct one.
